In the Spring of 2017 I worked with theater artist John Kelly to develop with auto-biographical performance Time No Line. Out collaboration focus on the section Life Lines, which addressed the HIV crises through projected video portraits, performed chalk drawings, and projected entries from Kelly’s journals.
To create the video portraits, nude models posed on white fabric under an array of LED lighting for an overhead camera. Footage from the session were processed in After Effects, QLab was used to sequence and compose the projections for the venue.
Featured here are excerpts from Life Lines and still images from the projected portraits.
